Research in our lab investigates the neurobiological and psychological mechanisms of learning,
their development, and their role in psychopathology

We use functional and structural neuroimaging, neurochemical imaging, peripheral and central psychophysiology, mathematical modelling, and behavioural, personality, and psychodiagnostic instruments

Examples of current work in the lab include:
  • Network function in expert and disordered decision-making
  • Typical and atypical adolescent brain development
  • Neurochemical and pharmacological imaging of the human cholinergic system
  • Multi-level studies of the regulation of positive and negative emotion
  • The neurobiology of belief
